Courtney and Kevin.... Engaged!

Courtney and Kevin are getting married (on the 21st niiiight of Septemberrr)! Come on... I know you all just started singing didn't you. Admit it. Courtney is another one of my fabulous nurse friends that you all get to see so much of! She is such a good friend and such fun person to be around - always laughing, telling some hilarious story about anything and everything... My cheeks usually hurt after a few minutes with her. I was so happy for her when she met Kevin. They are just so good for each other. They are totally the perfect balance and compliment to each other and it's just awesome. I swear they were laughing the whole time we were shooting... maybe partly at me saying stupid things (like OMG I love you guys... you are so cute. Seriously. OMG.) and almost falling down the rocks.. (or was that you, Court??)

So to document this awesome time in their lives we strolled around their 'back yard' in Southie. After a stop on M Street Beach, when headed down to Castle Island. (I love Southie and miss living there all the time. But luckily I feel like half of my friends live there so I get to still pretend : )

I am so excited for you guys! Thanks again for the 'ritas and sushi!

Patrice and Michael are getting hitched!

Not even sure where to start with this post! I don't even have to words to say how excited and honored I am to have shot Patrice and Michael's engagement shoot. And to be able to shoot their WEDDING next year! Its such a huge deal to me. I couldn't have picked a better couple to be my first wedding on my own. They are just so cool... so laid back... and so in love. In one of our many emails back and forth, Patrice said that she could tell how passionate and dedicated I was to this that's all that mattered. ummmm... SOLD. Thank you so much for trusting in me! I cannot WAIT until labor day weekend!

So we met up at the Cahoon's cottage down the cape and they instantly made me feel at home. Now I've known Patrice's older brother and sister-in-law for years, but immediately felt like I had known Patrice and Michael just as long. After grabbing a couple beers in mason jars (yesss), we headed toward the beach. And I love what we got. Ok enough of my yappin.... here they are!! (Pull up a seat.. I couldn't narrow down any more)

Jen and Will are getting hitched!

Jen is one of my absolute best friends. She is probably the sweetest person I know - not a mean bone in her body. We met 12 years ago (twelve?!) when we were freshman in college and were roommates for 8 of those 12 years. We have certainly had some amazing, funny, exciting times. When she met Will, I remember her having a giddy look in her eyes whenever she talked about him. They are two of the funnest people to be around. They always have so much fun wherever they are whether its with friends or just the two of them. When she came over to tell me that Will had asked her to marry him, I was so ridiculously happy for them. (That might be an understatement.) They went over to Spectacle Island for a clam bake, where Will completely surprised Jen with THE question. Just perfect. Less than 2 months from now they will be husband and wife. It is going to be such a fun wedding. And I am honored to stand up there with you guys. Can't wait. And Will... we are gonna tear up the dance floor with your signature moves. la;luv]'= (<--- aaand that was from our new puppy, Bauer trying to jump on my laptop. Too funny to erase. He wanted in on the action! I think it's hilarious that it says 'luv'. One smart little pup)

Carla and Shawn... Engaged!!

THANK you Mother Nature! It was raining buckets... I mean BUCKETS the morning of their shoot. We went back and forth a million times to reschedule or go for it. I'm so happy we went for it! It was an ab-solutely gorgeous night. What can I say? Carla and Shawn are awesome. You can just tell by the way they look at each other that they are completely in love. They were 100% at ease... just enjoying every second of being together. I feel so lucky to have been able to document their love, right now, at this very second of their lives for them. We took a walk around the Public Gardens and gorgeous Beacon Hill and had a blast. You guys rock... so so happy for you guys! October will be here before you know it!!
